Director of Sales / Senior IT Services Sales Manager

 

About the Job

 

We are a high-level IT Solutions and consulting firm currently in the search for an experienced Director of Sales Executive, who will focus on identifying potential new prospects, deepening relations with existing clients, and providing innovative solutions to them through well crafted strategies and continuous client interaction.

 

This role has deep element of high-level IT consulting as well. It will involve learning industry trends in specific industries (e.g. Federal, state, large consumer clients) and addressing client's strategic and operational (information technology) challenges.

 

This senior business development executive will have the following operational responsibilities:

·          Driving the topline growth of the business by garnering new client accounts and up-selling, cross-selling to existing accounts

·          Understand the clients' business and technology requirements and craft innovative solutions, in coordination with the global team of scientific and business analysts

·          Working with the marketing teams to segment/define new markets that will lead to further topline growth

·          Helping fine-tuning the sales strategy by understanding client requirements and helping to translate that into products and services in conjunction with the research team

·          Driving the sales strategy through scalable staffing and training plans

 

The ideal candidate would have a Masters degree (or at least 8-10 years of minimum experience) in the information technology staffing or consulting industry.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

·          Prospect and develop new business opportunities

·          Experience with contract negotiations

·          Drive Complete Sales Cycle, inception through contract

 

 

Required Skills:

·          Proven Sales experience; minimum of 7+ years of outside Sales experience preferred in the IT Consulting, Project Management and IT Support areas

·          Ability to successfully communicate ---verbally and in writing

·          Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service

·          Strong problem-solving skills

·          Ability to prioritize and multi-task

·          Must demonstrate sound business judgment and decision-making skills
